Westernized LeMatt 42 Cal, 9 Shot w/16 gauge Shotgun Barrel.  Supposed to belong to William P Longley, Gunfighter 1850.-1888.  He stated he hated “Negros, Yankees, & Carpet Bagging Lawmen".  Killed over 30 men. (Out stopping all the old outlaws except John Wesley Harlin who rack up 10 more).  Excellent account of his life in book "Wild Bill Longley's Texas Hard Case", included with gun and a recent newspaper clipping where they exhumed his body to prove he was the one buried there.

Handles have been replaced with horn, hammer bobbed (so it won’t hand in the hostler) Ram rod removed and slicked up for fast draw.  2nd model, all operative and low 3 digit serial.  Initials "W.L." and "Texas" under side of grips.  Butt swivel removed.  A nice I.D. D.E. addition to your LeMat collection.  (Sold 1st model for $22,000.00)

.49 Model 36 Cal Pocket Police - Fluted cylinder, grips good.  Hand missing, 1866 Mfg. By Colt, wedge replaced, dark metal and brass, barrel frame cut to close space between cylinder.  Brass back strap & trigger guard, Walnut grips.  Serial # 33XXX, Half fluted cylinder, replacement wedge, [ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA] stamped on barrel. [36 cal] and [T] stamped on trigger guard.

Remington Rider Pocket Revolver-Percussion Model, Pistol, bullet mold, caps, powder horn in wooden case.  Barrel stamped with Manufactured by Remington Ilion NY Riders Pt Aug 17, 1858 May 5, 1859.  Brass trigger guard, screw broken and other replaced on trigger guard.  013 stamped inside trigger frame, 2013 stamped under barrel. (Reference page 138 Flayderman's Guide, Sixth Edition)

Kerr Revolver belonged to Private Turner Beal, Co A, 12th Tennessee Cavalry set in Walnut Presentation Case.  Also historic documentation including but not limited to a copy of a Muster Roll,  copy of map of areas they covered, UDC Membership document, record of engagements the 12th Tennessee Cavalry participated in, acquisition documentation and a non-framed 18 x24 inch print of Forrest taken from the original painting done by artist Kelly Farrah.  Engraved plate inside case reads:  Kerr Revolver, Serial No 90XX Cal .44 Mfg by London Armoury Co.  These well made 5 shot revolvers were made in England and brought in through the Union Naval Blockages.  All serial numbers between 3,000 and 10,000 were shipped to the Confederacy.  This particular revolver was carried by Pvt. Turner Beal, Co A, 12th Tenn Cavalry.  This unit served under the command of General Nathan Bedford Forrest, CSA.  Pvt Beal's granddaughter, Mary McClung was awarded membership in the United Daughters of the Confederacy based on his service in the Confederate Army.  The Kerr itself is a little worse for wear but a nice and fairy rare Confederate used pistol.  LAC and proofs on barrel, proofs on cylinder. No JS and anchor can be found; missing cylinder pin.

Savage-North Percussion Revolver, his Officer's Sword with original sword knot and scabbard, copy of Pension Records, his photo in a locket, and Iron Knucks.  This group belonged to Captain James Howe of Co. B, 7th Regiment, Tennessee Mtd. Volunteer Infantry.  The revolver has a few replacement screws & nipples, the letters J.H. and an apple are carved in the right grip.
